Yuki Teraoka, grew up in Japan with his parents who are Interior Designers. Design has always been close to him, growing up his best friends were Lego and the very old Apple computers. In high school he always found himself drawing rather than taking notes, so decided to take a graphic art class.
He loved controlling the empty blank page using effects of lines, texts and colours. However he felt a lack of something in 2D compared to the level of detail that is achieved in 3D. He finally found his calling in Furniture Design.
“I found that good furniture is really standing out as one piece of art and yet it harmonized in the interior at the same time”, he concluded that he wanted to create powerful furniture and to do this he wanted to first understand the mechanism of the Interior.
