Hi I’m Uriel Antonio Calderon
Originally hailing from the Caribbean coastlines of Nicaragua, Puerto Cabazes.
I touched down in Australia in 1989 and have spent the majority of my life in Sydney’s West observing western culture and searching my own sources to my roots and have discovered that I have grown up being the only Central American of Caribbean decent in West Sydney.
Now in my adulthood I have been honing my main passions in life, that being art, music and further expanding my knowledge.
I am a resident club emcee at marquee, and a full time musician as one part of an edm group named DUOFOX. We focus on making original conscious synth hip hop fusion music ( as the lyricist) and we are greatly inspired by FlyLo, Toro y Moi, Daft punk, and Nas.
We released our first mixtape four months ago and are about to finish up on our second mixtape. I have personally created our two video clips that can be found on our youtube chanel Duofox.
When I’m not working on music I create graphic sketches that can be found on my Instagram Uforiel, and when I’m not expressing visually and musically I always try to find time to follow up on expanding knowledge and freedom of speech, even more so after hosting the W.A shark cull. I embrace creative expression wholly and my journey to further my outlooks in expression is a wondrous journey that has no limits.
