I studied Graphic and Communication Design from an early age at ‘Die Graphische’ in Vienna. Afterwards, I spent a year in the USA studying Illustration at the SMFA (School of the Museum of Fine Arts) in Boston, and taking part in a printmaking course at the University of Berkeley in San Francisco. In 2012, I enrolled at the University of the Arts London and soon found myself back in America on an exchange programme, in a six-month intensive at The Parsons New School for Design, New York.
Based on a constant change of scenery within the past 10 years I gen- erated a strong interest in the environment that I surround myself with. The land, the countryside, the city and the suburbs. Observations of my surroundings now play a vital role in shaping the direction of my practice. By looking very closely at the world we live in, I’m able to cre- ate my intricate pieces of art.
I tend to work quite meticulously with techniques such as printmaking and pencil illustration, however I also migrate these traditional tech- niques to digital, allowing different media to work hand in hand.
