I am an artist. I am a writer. I am probably also a performer but that isn’t distinct from my artist practice. I am about to be a gallerist.
I grew up in Germany. I studies first at Oxford Brookes then at Wimbledon College of Art (Fine Art Print and time Based Media). Now a graduate, I am about to open a gallery/residency program in Colliers Wood, London. The gallery will be called nice gallery, launching our first nice residency in October. My work as an artist is political, sometimes whimsical, co-opting established formats and aesthetics. I am interested in the commodification of ephemeral experience, in the aesthetics of power, the aesthetics of truth. I want to make and support intellectually rigorous and visually rich artwork.
