My name is Michael Sallit and I’m a 28 years old freelance graphic designer based in Paris, France. I grew up in Dijon, France, famous for its Dijon mustard.
As far as I can remember, I always tinkered with computers. It was my hobby, my passion and my way of learning. Like most kids, I enjoyed computer games (especially strategy games) and listening to music (i was already obsessed with records sleeves). Every week, I went to the public library and picked up some Cds and books about music in general.
My passion for graphic arts and illustration came from that time, when i saw posters, flyers and records sleeves in books. Starting from that, I taught myself graphic design basics, thanks to Internet tutorials. By the time I graduated high school, I didn’t really knew what i wanted to do for a living. Growing up during the MTV generation and being exposed to an array of different cultural and graphical expressions is a direct explanation to my versatile approach.
