Flora is an MA graduate of Central Saint Martins and was trained in fine jewellery at Medway College of Art.  She has worked with a number of respected jewellers including the expert stone carver Charlotte De Syllas.

Formally a Director of Electrum Gallery and Contemporary Applied Arts in London, Flora has recently returned to creating and designing. Craftsmanship is at the heart of all Flora’s work. By combining traditional skills with rapid prototyping, Flora creates dramatically modern jewels.

Flora’s latest collection draws on her family links with India since the 18th Century.  The work reflects the lives of her ancestors – East India Company pioneers – as they migrated to India to trade and explore.  The new collection draws together influences from Islamic pattern and Hindu and Mughal art to create elegant gems with a dark and opulent mood.
